When a tornado or hurricane destroys a home or forces a family to leave suddenly, life can change in a matter of minutes. Through Dr. Miniyar’s Tornado & Hurricane Family Relief Program, Dr. Miniyar steps in to help children and their families during these emergencies. When a family in our community is displaced or loses their home due to a storm, Dr. Miniyar helps with essential needs for the children — such as free medical care to children, food, basic supplies, and other urgent necessities so parents can focus on keeping their kids safe and calm.

As with all of his community programs, Dr. Miniyar does not give cash directly to families. Instead, Dr. Miniyar works with trusted local hotels, grocery stores, and other businesses and pays them directly on behalf of the family. This way, support goes exactly where it is needed most. The goal of Dr. Miniyar’s program is simple: when storms hit and everything feels uncertain, no child in our community should feel forgotten, and no parent should feel completely alone.
